Non-Programmable Thermostat for Home Heat Pump System and Conventional Single-Stage System

Aowel AW721 is a non-programmable heat pump thermostat designed for houses with up to 2 heating and 1 cooling multi-stage systems. It is compatible with Heat Pump systems (with aux or emergency heat) and Heat Pump (without auxiliary/backup heat) systems, supporting up to 2 Heat/1 Cool. Please note that the menu needs to be initialized for the Heat Pump system.

The thermostat is also compatible with most 24V conventional single-stage systems, such as conventional force air, central gas, oil, and electric furnaces. It supports up to 2 Heat/1 Cool, but you need to enter the menu and set it to the conventional system.

However, please be aware that the AW721 thermostat is not compatible with conventional multistage systems, mini split systems, and 12v rv thermostats. It is also not suitable for 110-240V electric heat systems like electric baseboard heat, line voltage, convectors, and radiant-ceiling heat.

The AW721 thermostat offers separate heating and cooling swing (Cycle Rate), with a default swing of 0.5°F (0.2°F to 2°F). It has a room temperature range of 32°F to 99°F and a temperature control range of 44°F to 90°F.

It also features a 3-minute compressor delay protection, selectable ON or OFF, and a low battery replacement reminder. The multifunctional display shows indoor temperature and humidity, which can be toggled ON or OFF.

The thermostat can be powered by either 24VAC Power or 2 AAA Batteries. It supports temperature correction for ambient temperature display, ensuring accurate temperature control with an error correction of +/-1-degree F for consistent comfort. The LCD display is 5.0 sq inches with a white backlight for easy visibility.
