The Honeywell Home manual electric baseboard thermostat is easy to install and suitable for 4-wire (double pole) electric heat applications, such as baseboard or line volt systems. It offers worry-free operation with a simple dial-type mechanical control and is certified by UL and CSA for safety. This thermostat is non-programmable and compatible with electric baseboards, convectors, and non-inductive rated fan-forced heaters, making it versatile. Equipped with a bimetal temperature sensor, it ensures hassle-free operation. Moreover, its 4-wire design provides a double-line break, enabling easy installation. The temperature range is 40 degreeF to 80 degreeF (4 degreeC to 27 degreeC), making it suitable for heat-only systems. With a power capacity of 2640W @ 120 Vac, 22A resistive; 5280W @ 240 Vac, 22A resistive; 5263W @ 277 Vac, 19A resistive, this thermostat can control a single electric baseboard heater or multiple electric heaters, as long as the combined load does not exceed 5280W. There is no minimum load requirement. It is important to note that if this thermostat is replacing a control that contains mercury in a sealed tube, the old control should not be thrown in the trash. It should be disposed of properly, in accordance with local waste management authority guidelines for recycling and proper disposal of old controls.
